The food was originally due to arrive at 1305, but this was pushed back to 1340. It eventually came at 1330, which was earlier than expected, but still later than initially promised. The woman who delivered the food was very pleasant and smiley, which certainly put me in a good mood (send her again!). Regarding the food: I ordered a chicken burger with gluten free bun and sweet potato fries. However, the sweet potatoes are not gluten free (which didn't show up in the 'extras' section of the menu, which is when I decided to upgrade), so Just-eat called some time later to amend the order. No doubt this is what contributed to the change in delivery time, although I'm not sure why they didn't call me sooner. Anyway, I replaced the fries with a salad. The burger itself was nice. The ratio of filling to bread was the main disappointment, although not it wasn't the end of the world. I would suggest they use thinner/smaller gluten-free buns in future so that the proportions are right, or else they could increase the amount of toppings and meat inside the burger instead. The chicken and toppings were very nice. I opted for extra avocado and bacon, which were a great combo. I should have added cheese, but I didn't realise cheese wasn't included (my fault for not reading properly). Perhaps the cheese would have made the bread less dry and offset the quantity of it in proportion to the other ingredients. The salad was okay, but there was too much of the curly endive (itself quite bitter), which overpowered the other components. The dressing was nice, however. There is a £2.50 delivery fee as well as the usual 50p service charge, which meant my order jumped up quite a bit from the £14 at checkout to the £17 at confirmation. All in all, this was a mixed to good experience, and I'll probably order from here again (but perhaps I'll opt for no bread at all next time, just to be safe).
